To celebrate the company’s major personalities who achieved great heights, while also kicking off their 2023 sales target, Suntrust Properties Inc. gathered more than 500 members of its sales team in a special event last Feb. 27 at Palacio de Manila.
“I Am Limitless: Conquering Infinite Possibilities” honored the company’s frontliners for their contributions and loyalty to the company. The fourth quarter annual awards and 2023 Sales Kickoff was replete with elegance: a black-tie event, with everyone dressed to the nines and given the star treatment complete with a red carpet.
Adding to the fanfare was a dance performance from the Amazing Duo which started off the event. A raffle draw was also held where lucky winners went home with new smartphones, laptops, and appliances. Even those who were not nominated for any awards were celebrated, highlighting that Suntrust is one big family that uplifts and cheers on everyone's individual achievements.
The sales campaign also acted as a reminder for their team to look back on 2022’s goals. Suntrust president Atty. Harrison Paltongan said in his speech that the awards are humble reminders of each Suntrustee’s responsibilities.
“Being an awardee carries at least two responsibilities. The first one is the responsibility to keep inspiring yourselves. The second one is for you to inspire others. In other words, you are a leader when you win an award because your duty is to influence others, to inspire others to be like you, if not better than you,” he said, adding that being a leader constitutes finding people that can be at par, or best them at their roles.
“The ultimate reward of leadership is to find people na mas magaling pa sa kanila."
Suntrust leaders as propellers for growth
The management committee's unwavering support is also a testament to their dedication to their team's success. The event ended with a promise of more growth and success for Suntrust Properties in the coming years.
For senior vice president Atty. Basilio Almazan Jr., hard work and action are among the top responsibilities for Suntrustees.
“Always remember, we are here for you to provide you infinite possibilities, infinite opportunities. Sa dami ng opportunities na binibigay namin sa inyo, kailangan namin kayong gumalaw, kailangan namin kayong magsabi, because that is the only way for all these infinite possibilities,” he said.
First vice president for sales, marketing, and training Jerry Rubis also reiterated the importance of their mission for 2023: to overcome the losses incurred by their company due to the pandemic.
“Malaki ‘yung nawala sa atin in the three-year period kaya bawat isa, inaasahan ng kumpanya na gumalaw nang husto this year because wala ng dahilan, wala ng pandemic. Ang dahilan na hindi ka magpro-produce ay ang sarili mo lamang,” he stressed.
Rubis added that their good start for 2023 is already a step forward to Suntrust’s growth.
